We took a long weekend and loaded up the coach and headed to
Beverley Beach, FL for a long 3 day weekend. It was one of those
trips that is planned exclusively for Ally to get her " beach fix ".
Growing up on Sydney, AUS northern beaches, she gets homesick now
and then a trip to the beach usually satisfies her itch for the
beach. While it was cool ( approximately 65 degrees ) it didn't stop
the Aussie from swimming in the ocean. It also didn't stop Tessa who
loves the water, especially the ocean. Both her and Ally took their
dips into the cold Atlantic while I stood back and watched. Here are
the pictures from our weekend trip. Enjoy.

A view from our parking spot. Each site fronts the
seawall on the ocean so your view out the front window of
your coach is directly at the Atlantic Ocean. |
Another view from our camping site. |

Miles of open beach. |
The view from inside the coach. |

It looks like its time to back the coach up to keep from
getting flooded. But in actuality we are located about 6 ft
above the ocean behind a small seawall. |
I am a lover of architecture. I just love home designs such
as this. What a location too. Right on the beach. ( Imagine
their insurance premiums for this location ). |

Another view of the previous home. One of my favorite beach
houses. |
An octagon home perched above the sand dunes on the ocean.
My idea of a perfect location for a home. |

A Spanish styled home on the same beach. Gorgeous curved
windows with covered viewing from balconies. |
St. Augustine is a historic city in Florida. It's historic
district has been preserved and turned into a shopping area.
Great tourist attraction. |

 |
|
The historic district of St. Augustine reminds me of a
European village. Cobblestone streets and old buildings in a
tight and cozy layout. |
We took Tessa with us to the historic district and she
enjoyed all of the attention she got from passerbys. Here
Ally and Tessa wait for our lunch. |

|
On the way back we stopped at the beach and ate our lunch
while watching the waves come in. |
After lunch we drove back on the beach towards the
campground. The trip was 7 miles long and took us an hour.
Great fun and very enjoyable. |

There is nothing like waking up in the morning, sipping a
cup of coffee while sitting in your coach and watching the
sun rise on the Atlantic. |
Sunrise on the Atlantic. Life is great isn't it ? |
